FAQ

We offer helicopter tours in two different aircraft: The Bell 206 and the R44.

The Bell 206 (Family pack) carries up to 4 passengers, and the R44 carries up to 3 passengers, in addition to the pilot.

In the R44 helicopter which fits 3 passengers, one person cannot exceed 300lbs and the total for 3pax is 600lbs.

In the Bell 206 which fits 4 passengers, one person cannot exceed 380lbs and the total for 4pax is 700lbs.

All passengers must be willing to be weighed for safety.

There are no age restrictions. Children are welcome to join our flights. Infants up to 30lbs (14kg) must sit on a lap and fly for free. Children above 30lbs (14kg) must have their own seat and require a paid ticket.

There are no health restrictions. If you have any medical condition that could be affected by altitude or motion, please consult your physician before booking your flight.

Each child must have an adult accompanying them, or at minimum meet a minimum age requirement to fly alone over 12 years old.

Yes! Helicopter tours are very safe. Our aircraft are regularly maintained and inspected, and all flights are conducted by highly trained, experienced pilots who are also certified flight instructors. We follow strict safety procedures to ensure every passenger has a secure and enjoyable experience.

Safety is our top priority! All flights are operated by experienced pilots in well-maintained helicopters, with seatbelts and safety briefings provided for every passenger. We follow strict procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Passengers must arrive 10 minutes prior to their scheduled departure, bring the Adult’s IDs (driver’s license or passports), sign a waiver, and have a safety briefing before their flight.

Fireworks tour must arrive 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure.

A full refund or reschedule requires at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. No refunds will be given after that time period. Although all flight times are approximate and subject to change due to weather conditions and weight restrictions. If it is cancelled due to inclement weather (heavy rain, low cloud ceilings, lightning, or extreme winds), you will be offered a different date or a full refund.

Processing debit/credit card fees are not refundable.

For safety and weight balance reasons, seating assignments are determined by our pilot and ground crew. We will do our best to accommodate requests when possible, but final seating is based on aircraft balance requirements.

Florida weather can change frequently. The pilot will monitor the weather conditions, and if it’s only raining without any severe weather (such as heavy rain, low cloud ceilings, lightning, or strong winds), we will be able to fly safely. If conditions are unsuitable, it could lead to delays or temporary holds. At this stage, your flight is still planned to go ahead. If there are any changes, you should receive a notification then you will have the option to reschedule your tour for another day.

You can start your helicopter training at any age. However, you must be 16 years old to fly solo, and 17 to earn your Private Pilot license.

  • Minimum 17 Years Old to take Flight Test (age 16 for student pilot & solo flights). You can begin training at any age.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English
  • FAA Medical Certificate, minimum Class 3
  • Pass an FAA Written “Airmen Knowledge Test”
  • Complete 40 hours Minimum Flight Time, including 20hrs of dual instruction and 10hrs of Solo Flight
  • Pass an FAA Oral and Practical Flight Test

No previous flight experience is required to obtain a helicopter license.

The price will vary greatly on what you fly and how long it takes you to complete each rating. Our aircraft range from $375/hour to $590/hour depending on the aircraft including fuel, instructor, pre & post flight.

The FAA requires a minimum of 40 hours of total flight time. Your actual flight time will depend on your proficiency and how frequently you fly. We have instructors available 7 days a week, giving you flexibility to fit training into your schedule. To maintain steady progress, we recommend flying 2–3 times per week. On average, our students complete around 50 hours of total training.
